Marthe Nana has served as the Secretary General of Cameroonian Solidarity USA (CASO) since the association’s inception in 2018. A trained registered nurse with over eight years of experience in the U.S. healthcare system, Ms. Nana currently works as a Delegating Nurse and Clinical Care Case Manager. She is also a small business owner, running a company that specializes in medical training, including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Certified Medication Technician (CMT) programs. This entrepreneurial role allows her to combine her two passions: education and healthcare. Before relocating to the United States, Ms. Nana worked as a School Counselor in her native Cameroon. She continued this work in the U.S., serving as a School Counselor at Booker T. Washington Middle School in Baltimore. Outside of her professional endeavors, Ms. Nana dedicates significant time to raising health awareness within immigrant communities across the DMV area (District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia), promoting best practices for healthy living. Ms. Nana holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA, and a Post-Master’s Certificate in School Counseling from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Through her active involvement in various community initiatives and charitable organizations, Ms. Nana embodies the vision and mission of CASO USA, contributing daily to building stronger and more resilient communities.
